Disability Holidays Guide Ltd (Registered in England No: 06905502) is an Internet company based in the UK and is operated by a small team of professionals who have experience in Sales, Marketing and the Travel Industry. On the whole, we’re your average Joes and like most people, we have family and friends who are elderly, live with disabilities and medical conditions. More importantly, we like them to be included in our holiday plans!

We realise that holidays present a much-needed break for those who live with disabilities. Sadly, many disabled people are put off making travel arrangements as options can be limited. For this reason, we felt there was a definite need to introduce more accessible holiday opportunities in a straightforward and convenient way.

We appreciate the term ‘disability’ covers an umbrella of circumstances from congenital and inherited conditions to long-term physical disablement resulting from spinal injury and degenerative disorders. There are of course situations like those who live with dementia, arthritis and back pain and not forgetting those who have acquired disabilities through suffering strokes, cancer, brain tumours, heart and renal conditions. With this in mind, we have applied a fresh approach and designed a user-friendly, holiday inspiring website that focuses on what’s most important – your ability!

To bring more choice to the disabled community, our objective is to open a doorway for businesses in the leisure and tourism industry to promote their accessible services. There are varying levels of disability and most companies will have something to offer. We want to help companies highlight what accessible features (no matter how small) they do provide. Although we cannot take responsibility for information supplied via links to external websites, it is important to us that companies who advertise on this website do not mislead and this is why we investigate and approve all content first hand.
