Certain times of the year are very busy in the Lakes and traditionally the busiest is Easter, so book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Bank Holidays are also popular and some locations can become very congested, so if it�s a bit of peace and quiet you�re after, you may want to consider a trip to the Lakes at a quieter time of year, like Christmas.
