Badaguish Outdoor Centre

Badaguish is our 3* rated luxury self catering lodges tucked away deep inside the picturesque Cairngorm National Park. Each lodge consists of 4 and 2 single rooms and sleeps up to 10 guests. The lodges, named Otter, Badger, Capercaillie and Eagle, come with plenty of space for wheelchair users and are fully wheelchair accessible. Each lodge has;

• Ground floor designed to be wheelchair/mobility impaired
accessible

• Low height bench in dining/kitchen area for wheelchair/ seated access use

• Extra large ground floor twin room with the extra large shower room (which can be a dedicated en-suite) adjacent with attached washing machine/tumble dryer facilities

• Extra large shower room with toilet transfer bars

• Standard size ground floor twin room with private shower room

• Possible loan of manual hoist and/or shower chair (please contact us to discuss if required)

• Possible part-day loan of one of our range of specialist bikes (please contact us to discuss if required)

• Possible loan of a nursing care adjustable bed with cot sides

• A large, accessible, open plan area which has comfortable furnishings, satellite TV and DVD player

Respite Care
We also provide 24hr short break respite care for adults and children with learning disabilities and multiple disabilities, in an exlusive location in the Cairngorms National Park. Even though we are very outdoors orientated, we have an array of activities tailored for both indoors and outdoors and encourage participation wherever possible. Our holidays are for groups of ten or less and are grouped based on age, levels of ability and mobility. This allows us wherever possible to cater for each guest on a one-to-one basis and hopefully allowing them to learn everyday life skills while they are with us.

Wigwams
We also offer very modern and fully equipped Wigwam and Campsite facilities here at Badaguish. Our wigwams sleep up to four people and are the ultimate way to enjoy camping. They are fully insulated, double glazed and equipped with standard UK sockets, electric heaters, foam mattresses, kettle and mini fridge.

Our camp site is spread over six acres of grassland with room for up to 100 campers and comes with modern shower facilities and toilets, ideal for pre-booked school and youth groups.
