A tastefully decorated, ground floor apartment which provides excellent accessible features for wheelchair users and people with mobility difficulties and has been awarded National Accessibility Scheme rating of Mobility Level 3A, Hearing Level 1 and Visual Level 1. The apartment offers three bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 6. However, with the use of the sofa bed located in the lounge, you can increase this to 8!

To make life easier, there are no steps/ lips throughout the apartment and all doors have a least a 750mm opening. Light switches are position at 1100mm and a large number of electrical sockets are at accessible height. Door handles are at 860mm and are lever type.

For your comfort, all bedrooms are fitted with a TV and all bed linen and towels (Cotton) are provided for you. The beds will be made up for your arrival. If you are staying for two weeks, they will be changed for you on the middle Friday.

The apartment is kept warm during the cooler periods with central heating and an electric fire in the lounge for extra warmth if needed. There are no hidden charges - the use of these are included in the weekly cost.

The Front Bedroom

This light and airy room overlooking the sea and the Purbecks has a profiling bed and a single bed. There is a wardroom with two levels of rails, Laminate flooring and plenty of space to manouvre a wheelchair. The accessible en-suite wet room is ideal for wheelchair users with slip resistant vinyl flooring and shower seat with arms. The toilet has a drop-down support arm and side grab rail with left transfer.

The Back Bedroom

A modern room with an electric double bed, each side working independently and can be split to be used as two 2' 6" singles. It also has a spacious en-suit wet room suitable for wheelchair users, again with slip resistant vinyl flooring, raised toilet with drop-down support arm and grab rail with right transfer.

The Middle Bedroom

A comfortable twin room with access to the toilet/ shower across the hall.

The Lounge

Sit back, relax and take in the views! The lounge faces south and overlooks the cliff top and the sea. There is ample varied seating, a large LCD television with Blu-Ray DVD and a broadband wireless router to access the internet.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a dining table. A stepping stool is provided for reaching high shelves for those of smaller stature.

Outside Area

You will find a peaceful, partly secluded garden with table and seating. This area has it own entrance and its pathways are wheelchair and walking aid accessible.

There is also a beach hut available for part of your stay at a Blue Flag award winning beach hut, which is very close to the flat and at no extra cost.
