Stay in Award-Winning Five Star Caravan Park

You will be staying in a cosy 35ft x 12ft state-of-the-art Willerby Westmorland caravan that has been custom made for disabled guests. This is a two bedroom caravan with enough room in the double bedroom to maneuver a wheelchair and extra wide doors throughout. The kitchen has lowered work tops and sinks for wheelchair users and the bathroom comes complete with hand rails and wet room. This is a truly luxurious caravan with lots of extras for added comfort and warmth.

There are a variety of spacious, modern caravans to choose from, ranging from 28ft to 37ft long. The caravans can cater for parties of up to 6 people. All electricity and gas charges are included in the hire rates. All have 13 amp sockets and fully automated gas hot water heating. Heating in the lounge areas is by gas fire and caravans have either small electric heaters in the bedrooms and bathrooms or the luxury of central heating.

Each caravan has a well equipped kitchen, including a hob and cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, as well as all the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils you may need. There is also plenty of storage room in the kitchen area for groceries. A television and DVD player are in each caravan. Bed linen and towels are not supplied in caravans, although they can be hired, in advance, at a cost of £10 per person. You will need to bring your own : duvet cover, under sheet, pillow cases and towels for each person, if you do not wish to hire them.

The larger village of Benllech is just over 3 miles away and has a wider choice of shops, such as Co-op, Spar, Post Office, a butchers, greengrocers and pharmacy.

Less than a mile away from Minffordd is Lligwy Beach. This has a large sandy beach, car parking and small café/shop. Boat launching is available here (for a fee) and at another beach nearby, Traeth Bychan.

At Minffordd, whether in a caravan or one of our cottages, you are staying in an area of outstanding natural beauty and are ideally located to explore the beautiful, historic island of Anglesey, with its castles and houses, beaches, lakes and many other attractions on the island. Within easy reach is Snowdonia, the National Park, and the North Wales Coast.
