The Langdales Hotel prides itself on its accessibility policy and its attitude towards disabled and elderly guests and all the management and staff are well trained in catering to the needs of those less mobile. There is a ramped entrance to reception and all amenities are accessible. There is one accessible room on the ground floor and the others are on the first floor, accessed via an accessible lift.

The Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with en-suite shower and wet rooms. There are a choice of singles, twin and family rooms, complete with hairdryers, radio alarms, complimentary tea trays and direct dial telephones, all at accessible height.

Facilities

The Langdales Hotel has all the amenities you would come to expect from a modern hotel such as this one. The leisure club has a indoor heated swimming pool, steam room and spa. You can work up a sweat in the fully equipped gymnasium and there is a cafe next to it if you fancy a snack after your workout! You can dine in the newly refurbished restaurant and bar or if you prefer to relax and read a book instead, you can chill out in the lounge where you can also enjoy the evenings entertainment put on each night by the hotel.

Respite Breaks

If you are in need of much needed respite, why not give us a call? We do not provide care ourselves but we do work very closely with local carers who can come in and look after you while you are with us and because we are qualified in the elderly care profession, we will be able to assist in whatever way we possibly can. Access Statement for The Langdales Hotel

The Langdales Hotel welcomes people with disabilities and has developed this Access Statement to address some of the more common issues that disabled people face. This access statement is intended to provide additional information for all guests who wish to attend the hotel or use its facilities. Recognition has been given to include guests with an impairment, which could include: Mobility, Sight, Hearing, Learning Disabilities or any other hidden impairment. The Langdales Hotel aims to ensure that all employees, guests and others who use, or assist in, the provision of our services whether they have a mobility difficulty, a visual impairment, are deaf or hard of hearing, are deaf blind, have a speech impairment or difficulty, have a learning disability or mental health disability, use a wheelchair, cane, walking frame or crutches, or have any other disability, are treated equally and according to their needs. We request that anyone wishing to make an enquiry or booking inform us of any special needs or disabilities that they may have in order for us to meet any personal requirements. All staff are fully trained to assist disabled guests with empathy.

The Langdales Hotel has two car parking bays on a level surface at the front of the hotel with ample free parking space. With a gentle slope leading to the main entrance and reception. All ground floor areas of the hotel are accessible to wheelchair users and disabled cloakroom facilities are also available. A wheelchair is available from reception and motorized wheelchairs are available by prior arrangement. By Car
From the M55:

Drive to the end of the M55, then follow signs for Squires Gate and Blackpool Airport (A5230). - Pass the airport and continue to the very end of Squires Gate Lane. - At the traffic lights at the bottom of the railway bridge, turn left towards St.Annes. - Pass through one set of traffic lights and you'll find the hotel on your right, about half a mile down.

From Preston:

- Take the A584 to Lytham St.Annes and continue to St.Annes. - Turn right at the pier and then left on to Clifton Drive North.
By Train:
Leave the train at St.Annes on Sea (not Lytham). Turn right out of the train station and then take the first road on the left (St.Georges Road). Follow to the end and turn right - the hotel is across the road, approximately a 5 minute walk.
