Disabled Friendly B&B/Self Catering Accommodation in Alicante!

Villa Alicante has been specifically designed for disabled holidaymakers. We offer our guests holiday accommodation which has been purposely designed and built for disabled guests.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Our villa has 5 twin bedrooms, the largest room has a wet room which is fully adapted and equipped with shower chair, turner, rails and is spacious enough to sleep two wheelchair users.

The second twin also has an ensuite perfect for carers or family. 

Family Rooms

The villa has enough room to accommodate a medium to large family or carers and can sleep up to 10 guests.

Facilities

Our wet room has a wheel in shower area, strategically placed fitted grab rails and either wheel in shower chairs or commodes - whichever you prefer. 

Maid Service and Laundry

Maid Service will be available 3 times per week. An iron and ironing board is available for guests to use. Our staff are always on hand if you need them to assist with getting out and about, villa laundry, etc. Our staff are housed in a separate annex to ensure your privacy. 

Self Catering

Those choosing self catering will be accommodated in one of our 5 rooms here at the villa. You will have use of the fully fitted kitchen; complete with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board. Tea and coffee will be provided FREE OF CHARGE throughout your stay.

Friendly and Efficient Staff

From being met at the airport and for the duration of your holiday, our experienced professional staff will be available if or when you need them. We are situated in a quiet part of the countyside in Alicante but are only a short drive away from all the action. Our staff will be on hand to take you on our scheduled day trips and excursions.

Dining

You will be waking up to the smell of freshly cooked breakfast prepared by our in-house chef and we will try our best to cater to any special dietary requests, provided we are notified at the time of booking. A typical breakfast would include fresh fruit juices or tea and coffee, followed by a full English breakfast.

We find that most of our guests tend to want to eat out in the evening hence we do not provide evening meals as a rule, however, if you would like us to provide evening meals, this can be arranged for a nominal fee.

Pool & Gardens

Enjoy a day just relaxing by the pool sipping a cold drink - and poolside towels are provided Free of Charge, for your use, during your stay. The swimming pool at Villa Alicante has been specially built to enable safe and easy access by people with disabilities. The pool itself is 1.5 metres deep in shallow end - 1.95 in the deep end and is equipped with a hoist.

All the communal areas at Villa Alicante are accessible by wheelchairs to enable you to fully enjoy your holiday with us. You are free to explore the surroundings of the villa at your leisure. 

Evenings out

For those who wish to enjoy some of the local night life and get a total taste of this beautiful area of Spain, we will provide transport to take you out for evening meals, discos, etc for a nominal fee.

Evenings In

If you wish to stay in instead, you can relax by the poolside with a nice cool drink and for the cooler evenings, the wood is already cut for the wood burner to keep you warm and snug.

Mobilty Aids & Equipment

Included FREE in the price of your holiday is most of the special equipment you may need. This includes mobile hoists, shower chairs, commodes, walking frames, toilet risers. We do recommend that for personal comfort you bring your own sling.

For those guests who require addition equipment such as ripple mattresses, electric wheelchairs, and scooters, this can be arranged at an additional cost but guests would need to notify us at the time of booking in order for us to have it delivered in time for your arrival. 

We are based in Perleta, Near Alicante in Costa Blanca, (About 45 Minutes From Benidorm.)

You can choose to do as much or as little as you wish, during your time with us, after all it is your holiday! If you wish to get out and about while you're here, we have included 3 days out as a part of your package. Included in your holiday package is the option of up to 3 day trips during your stay with us. These include;

Day Trip To Alicante

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Alicante with its famous esplanade, the famous Santa Barbara Castle, its beaches and of course, its many shops! 

Santa Pola

This fising port is a very relaxing day out where you can visit the shops, the very popular Salt Mines, its quirky cafes and the beach if you wish to.

Benidorm

What can we say about BENIDORM! A year round favourite for British tourists and even more now because of the show! You will be visiting the famous hotel and site where the show is filmed and if you are lucky, might even bump into a star or two from the TV show!
