Dove Farm has 3 holiday cottages, Barn Owl, Swallow Cottage and Wren. There are 7 bedrooms in total between them and sleeps a total of 16 guests with good access throughout. We pride ourselves on our attitude towards our guests who are disabled or have mobility difficulties and are more than happy to do whatever we can to make them feel at home with us. Of the 3 cottages, Barn Owl and Wren Cottage are the most accessible while Swallow Cottage is ideal for guests and carers.

Barn Owl Cottages

Barn Owl Cottage has 3 spacious bedrooms downstairs, a shower room, a living room and kitchen. The ground floor is spacious and is wheelchair accessible. The shower room is generously sized and the floor is level throughout. There is a grab rail in the toilet and transfer space to left of WC. All sockets and light switches are at accessible height and all internal doorways meet the external doorway specifications of 33 inches. There are no steps in or out the property and the patio garden at the rear of the cottage is level and hard surfaced, as is the immediate access area around the cottage.

Wren Cottage

Wren Cottage is a 2 bedroom (double and single bedroom) cottage that sleeps 5 guests and is wheelchair friendly. The cottage is all ground floor with no steps to contend with and all internal door widths are set to external specifications of 33 inches. The bathroom has a wet room with half-height shower doors, an opening of 72 cm and grab rails on both sides of the toilet.

There is ample room for guests to maneuver around the cottage freely and the rear of the property opens up onto the patio garden which is ideal for Bar-B-Qs in the summer! The Wren kitchen is the main cooking area for large parties but catering is also available. The cottage is fully equipped with WiFi, DVD player/audio equipment and Freeview TV.

The Farm
 

Dove Farm is a beautiful and very fascinating part of middle England that is steeped in history going back to the 12th century. The farm is one and a half miles long and is complimented by semi-wooded and riverbank habitats. Parts of the paths are wheelchair friendly and a guided tour can be arranged.
