To see someone’s live location on WhatsApp, both parties must share locations mutually:

  1. Open the chat with the person.
  2. Tap the attach (paperclip) icon.
  3. Select “Location.”
  4. Choose “Share live location.”
  5. Select the duration to share (15 mins, 1 hour, 8 hours).
  6. Tap “Send.”

They must accept and share their live location for you to view it. For privacy, you can’t track someone without their consent.
